19 Mar
Summary
- Doncic filed an injunction to see his daughters in the US.
- Ex-fiancée Anamaria Goltes relocated to Slovenia with their two children.
- A dispute at a Slovenian hospital led to police involvement.

Lakers point guard Luka Doncic has initiated legal proceedings, filing an injunction to gain access to his two young daughters. This action follows his ex-fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, relocating with their children to Slovenia, their home country. The couple, who were engaged, recently announced their split last week.
Goltes returned to Slovenia last May with their elder daughter and while pregnant with their second, who was born in December. Doncic traveled to Slovenia for the birth but reportedly encountered difficulties. A dispute at a Slovenian hospital on December 6, two days after the younger daughter's birth, led to police being called, though no offenses were detected.
Doncic stated he made the difficult decision to end the engagement, expressing his deep love for his daughters and his efforts to have them with him in the US. However, Slovenian newspapers report he has only seen them for two days since last year's training camp. The injunction, filed on February 26, demands immediate contact with his children, signaling a potential bitter transatlantic custody battle.
