Summary
- Alannah Keyser removed from show after video using slur surfaces.
- Keyser's video surfaced days after her debut on the reality program.
- This marks the third contestant removed for similar reasons this season.

A second contestant from the current season of "Love Island USA" was removed on Thursday after a video surfaced online showing her using a racial slur. Alannah Keyser, 21, who attends the University of Southern California's film school, was introduced to the show on Sunday. Viewers soon discovered a 10-second video of Keyser singing along to lyrics containing a slur.
Approximately 20 minutes into Thursday's episode, the narrator announced Keyser's departure. A representative for Peacock stated the video was not accessible during the show's vetting process. This follows the earlier removal of contestant Vasana Montgomery, who was ousted after two videos of her using a racial slur circulated.
Last season also saw two contestants, Yulissa Escobar and Cierra Ortega, removed for using racial slurs in videos that resurfaced. Montgomery, Escobar, and Ortega have since issued apologies. "Love Island USA" is a popular summer show where contestants compete for $100,000.
