Summary
- Model Gabriel Garland was removed from Love Island UK.
- He denies any wrongdoing in a past teenage incident.
- Garland states he has no criminal record.

Gabriel Garland, a contestant on Love Island UK, has addressed his recent and unexpected exit from the dating series. The model shared a video message on July 3, seeking to clarify his situation after being removed from the villa. Reports emerged that his departure was due to production becoming aware of his name being mentioned in court documents connected to a 2019 stabbing incident.
Garland explained that the incident occurred when he was a teenager. He stressed that the legal judge found no wrongdoing against him and that he does not possess a criminal record. He expressed his disappointment over leaving the show, particularly as he felt he was developing a significant connection with another contestant, which viewers did not get to see.
He was one of six Casa Amor contestants who joined the villa on June 28. His exit follows that of George Knight, another contestant who left Love Island UK for private reasons. This situation echoes recent departures from Love Island USA, including Vasana Montgomery and Alannah Keyser, who were removed after resurfaced videos appeared to show them using racial slurs. Love Island UK is currently available for streaming on Hulu in the U.S.
