Love Island All Stars winners Samie Elishi and Ciaran Davies have ended their relationship only three weeks after lifting the trophy. The couple, who took home £50,000 in February, have decided to remain friends. Reports indicate that differences in their backgrounds and lifestyles became apparent soon after the show wrapped.
Elishi, an influencer from Islington, north London, and Davies, from Pencoed in South Wales, reportedly found their cultural differences irreconcilable. Following a visit to Wales, Elishi allegedly realised their lives were too dissimilar, leading to the split. She is now reportedly spending significant time with Essex-born semi-professional footballer Tyrique Hyde.
Hyde, a fellow Love Island alum, had previously expressed admiration for Elishi. Online clips from before her All Stars appearance show him naming her as someone he'd like to share a bed with, citing her attractiveness and cool demeanor. He recently confirmed Elishi is "a special person" in his life, though he denies any role in her breakup with Davies.
Despite the controversy, Elishi and Hyde were recently seen together at a Baller League match and have planned a trip to further test their connection. Their interactions, including Hyde unfollowing Davies on Instagram shortly before the split was announced, have fueled speculation among fans.
