While Eglin’s relationship with Williams did not progress, he cherishes the moments and shared interests that bonded them. He sees humor as a defense mechanism and has no regrets about his approach on the dating experiment, believing all experiences lead to positive outcomes.

Eglin also extended well wishes to Affleck, playfully referencing a popular meme about the actor. He hopes for a continuation of Affleck's character Doug MacRay's story, suggesting a reunion in Florida.
