Love Is Blind Star Giannina Gibelli Hopes for Happier Second Wedding

As of November 4th, 2025, Love Is Blind star Giannina Gibelli, 32, is eagerly anticipating her second trip down the aisle, this time with her fiancé Blake Horstmann, 36. The couple, who met while filming the reality show All Star Shore last year, announced their engagement in November 2024 and are now just eight months away from their upcoming nuptials.

Gibelli is hopeful that her second wedding experience will be vastly different from her first, which ended in a dramatic fashion when her then-fiancé, Damian Powers, broke down crying and said "no" at the altar on the Netflix dating show. Recalling that moment, Gibelli joked that she was "scared for my life and wondering, 'Why is my groom crying so hard?' " This time, however, she feels "really relaxed" and is looking forward to a true "celebration" with Horstmann.

The couple has been intentional about their wedding planning, giving themselves over a year to prepare. "We got ahead of the curve better than most people," Horstmann shared, adding that they are in a "good spot" with their planning. Gibelli even revealed that she has "multiple" dresses picked out for the big day, much to Horstmann's amusement.

One special detail the couple shared is that their 19-month-old son, Heath, will have the honor of being the ring bearer, walking down the aisle in a little tuxedo to match his father. "He'll be there every step of the way," Gibelli said of their toddler.

As for the wedding date, the couple is keeping it under wraps, only teasing that it will be "a summer wedding" that is "just going to be very magical and kind of everything we've ever wanted."
