He revealed he has not spoken to Cowell in years and believes the ITV talent show is past its peak.

Walsh further alleged that Cowell's fiancée, Lauren Silverman, controls his phone and diary. While acknowledging Cowell's past success, Walsh suggested the music mogul is no longer in his prime and is surrounded by people who aren't honest with him. This criticism follows a previous public disagreement between Walsh and Cowell's fiancée, Sharon Osbourne, who also expressed unwillingness to work with him again.
