- The album 'Where Did the Sunshine Go?' releases February 24, 2026.

In the 1960s, Canadian indie rockers The Glass Cage played local shows, building a following before disbanding shortly after recording a live performance. This recording was subsequently lost for 58 years.
In 2016, Marcus Pollard discovered a damaged, unlabeled vinyl record containing six songs at a thrift store. After two years of unsuccessful searching, a social media post connected Pollard with Norman Roth, then 77, a former member of The Glass Cage. Roth was astonished his long-lost music had resurfaced.
Pollard dedicated eight years to restoring and officially releasing the music. This involved refurbishing the record, digitally remastering the songs, creating elaborate packaging, and compiling a booklet on the band's history.
The finished vinyl album, titled "Where Did the Sunshine Go?," is slated for release on February 24, 2026. Roth and his bandmates are content that their music will now reach a wider audience, fulfilling Roth's hope to simply say, "I was here."
