London will host its first "State of the Story" Conference on July 12 at the BFI Southbank Theater. This inaugural event, organized by Storytelling360, will bring together prominent figures in the storytelling industry.
Confirmed speakers include Richard Gadd, the creator and star of 'Baby Reindeer,' Joe Barton, creator and director of 'Black Doves,' and Philip Barantini, co-creator and director of 'Adolescence.' Other notable participants are Gurinder Chadha ('Bend it Like Beckham'), Matt Charman ('Bridge of Spies'), and Neil Marshall ('Game of Thrones').
The conference aims to facilitate discussions among these industry leaders about the evolving state of storytelling through various panel conversations. Storytelling360, founded in 2025, has previously hosted successful events in Los Angeles and New York, featuring renowned writers like Marta Kauffman and Eric Roth.
