Paris-based digital distribution firm Logicomix has finalized an agreement with Sony Pictures France (SPF) to distribute a wide array of classic films on YouTube. The SPF library, featuring titles like 'Wolf' and 'Gloria,' will be accessible via YouTube channels managed by Logicomix. This deal enhances Logicomix's existing film catalog, which serves over 16 million unique viewers each month across seven dedicated channels.
Launched in 2016, Logicomix specializes in creating and monetizing YouTube channels in partnership with content creators. In 2025, the company reported generating six billion video views across more than 180 managed channels. Driven by a 65% revenue increase in its cinema business last year, Logicomix is set to introduce five new thematic channels by mid-2026.
Yann Chapellon, Logicomix founder and CEO, stated the agreement bolsters their movie channel portfolio on YouTube. He emphasized YouTube's crucial role in French media consumption and its potential for film exposure, aiming to provide a structured framework to extend film exploitation cycles and sustainably develop their value.
