Lockdown Drama: Anupama's Secret Fear Unfolds

Actress Anupama Parameswaran takes the lead in 'Lockdown,' a highly anticipated Tamil drama inspired by real events. The film's narrative centers on Anitha, a character grappling with deep-seated fears and unwanted attention, whose life takes a tumultuous turn with the announcement of a 21-day nationwide COVID-19 lockdown.

Forced to remain home, Anitha's behavior increasingly concerns her parents, particularly her mother who observes her anxious phone usage and temper. The trailer hints at her attempts to seek medical help, only to find doctors isolated due to the virus, further intensifying her isolation and financial desperation.

With music composed by N R Raghunanthan and Siddharth Vipin, and cinematography by K.A. Sakthivel, 'Lockdown' promises a compelling cinematic experience. The film, which also boasts a significant supporting cast, is slated for release on December 5, aiming to shed light on the psychological and practical challenges individuals face during enforced confinement.
