Pop star Lizzo has issued a strong response to the recent dismissal of fat-shaming claims in her ongoing legal dispute with former dancers. In a recent social media post, Lizzo asserted that these allegations, which formed a significant part of the lawsuit filed by Arianna Davis, Noelle Rodriguez, and Crystal Williams, were unfounded and lacked any merit, leading to their removal from the case.

Lizzo clarified that the basis for the dancers' termination was not related to their weight, but rather for allegedly recording her without consent and distributing the footage to unauthorized individuals. She highlighted her history of supporting and celebrating larger body types, making the accusations particularly hurtful since their emergence in 2023.

Supported by her legal counsel, Marty Singer and Melissa Y. Glass, Lizzo is determined to contest all remaining allegations. The legal team presented evidence, including sworn declarations from 18 witnesses, which reportedly led to the dancers dropping their appeal over the dismissed fat-shaming claims, signaling a potential path to victory for the singer.
