In 2026, Live Nation will open a new 4,400-capacity indoor music venue called 'The Truth' in Nashville. The venue is part of the Wedgewood Village development and is designed to honor the city's rich musical legacy.
According to Sally Williams, president of Nashville Music & Business Strategy for Live Nation, the goal is to create a venue that "speaks to the core of Nashville." The Truth will feature a flexible floor plan with three levels in close proximity to the stage, allowing it to accommodate capacities ranging from 1,800 to 4,400 for both standing-room and seated shows.
The venue's name and design pay homage to Nashville's songwriting community. It takes its name from a quote by the late country music legend Harlan Howard, who referred to country music as "three chords and the truth." Howard's legacy is further celebrated through the venue's whiskey bar, named 'Harlan's.'
In addition to hosting global headliners, The Truth will also shine a spotlight on local Nashville artists across a variety of genres. The venue's two-level listening lounge, 'Vinyl Room,' will offer a space for music fans to gather and experience live performances in an intimate setting.
