Corrie Star Lisa George's £8k Eyelid Lift Transformation

Coronation Street actress Lisa George, aged 55, has recently unveiled a remarkable transformation following a three-stone weight loss and an £8,000 eyelid surgery. George, who departed the soap in 2024 after 13 years, underwent an upper blepharoplasty and brow lift. She shared that her previous appearance, where her eyelids would cover her eyes when squinting or smiling, made her feel "very down."

George's transformation also involves a significant weight reduction, spurred by a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis and comments about her television appearance. A low-FODMAP diet, recommended by an endocrinologist for stomach issues, helped her understand her body's reactions and led to substantial weight loss. She has expressed intentions for further cosmetic surgery, including a lower facelift.

This physical transformation comes after George previously opened up about her struggles with eyesight issues. Diagnosed with NAION, a form of optic neuropathy, she experienced recurring sight loss since 2016, causing concern for her acting career.
