Lionel Richie Out of Hospital After Health Scare

Lionel Richie has been released from the hospital where he was admitted earlier this week as a precaution. The 77-year-old star is now back home in Los Angeles and is reportedly doing great.

Richie was admitted to the intensive care unit for cardiac tests. He had previously experienced illness onstage during a performance on August 29 in St. Louis, where he asked for a chair during his final song. This incident occurred during his ongoing tour with Earth, Wind & Fire.

In June, Richie cut a performance short due to feeling dizzy and postponed two shows to recover. He returned to the stage on June 30 and later shared a positive update on Instagram, thanking fans for their support. His next scheduled performance is on September 26 in San Francisco.
