Lionel Richie Hospitalized Amid Tour, Cites Dizziness

Grammy winner Lionel Richie, aged 77, is currently in the ICU in St. Louis, where he is undergoing cardiac tests. He is expected to return home on September 2nd. Richie checked himself into the ICU as a precautionary measure after his concert on August 29th. During the performance, he experienced dizziness and asked for a chair while singing his final song, 'All Night Long.'

This recent health scare comes over two months after a similar incident on June 24th. During a concert in St. Paul, Minnesota, Richie cut his performance short due to feeling unwell and dizzy. He jokingly told the crowd he had never performed 'Dancing on the Ceiling' while seated. Doctors advised him to rest, leading to the postponement of two subsequent shows. He returned to the stage on June 30th and later reassured fans on July 4th that he was doing well.
