Lilo & Stitch Star Tia Carrere Rocks Iconic Aulani Ears at Disneyland

In October 2025, Lilo & Stitch fans were delighted to spot actress Tia Carrere at Disneyland, celebrating the recent release of the live-action Lilo & Stitch film on Disney+. Carrere, who voiced the character of Nani in the original 2002 animated movie, was seen sporting the Plumeria Minnie Mouse ears from the Aulani resort in Hawaii.

The Plumeria ears, featuring the famous Hawaiian flower, were first released a few years ago and have become a must-have item for Disney enthusiasts. Carrere's choice to wear the special ears during her Disneyland visit was a nod to her long-standing involvement with the Lilo & Stitch franchise, which she has been a part of since the beginning.

The live-action Lilo & Stitch movie, which premiered on Disney+ last month, sees Carrere returning to the franchise in a new role as Mrs. Kekoa, a social worker keeping an eye on the Pelekai sisters.
