Anarchists United's inaugural project is a DIY docuseries titled 'Cassie Workman Is Witchy AF,' set to debut on YouTube on September 16. The series features Australian comic Cassie Workman exploring themes of occultism and magic with her distinctive humor. Wachowski has expressed frustration over the cancellation of her acclaimed series 'Work in Progress' and her inability to secure funding for other queer-centric projects.
Wachowski also addressed the political co-option of 'The Matrix' by figures on the right, labeling it a fascist tactic to distort progressive messages. She drew parallels between the struggles of the trans community and other liberation movements, emphasizing the importance of connectivity and mentorship as crucial tools for survival and change within the industry.
