- Jury deliberated for three days before reaching a verdict.

Rapper Lil Durk has been acquitted of all charges in a murder-for-hire case. After three days of jury deliberation, the rapper was found not guilty on all counts. His alleged co-conspirators, David 'Browneyez' Lindsey and Deandre 'OTF Dede' Wilson, were also cleared of murder-for-hire charges. However, they were convicted of stalking and conspiracy charges related to the incident that led to the death of Lil Durk's cousin.
The trial, which lasted two weeks, saw prosecutors allege that Lil Durk orchestrated the murder of Quando Rondo, claiming it was in retaliation for the 2020 death of his friend King Von. The incident in 2022 resulted in shots fired at Rondo, with his cousin, Saviay'a Robinson, killed in the crossfire. Three 'OTF' crew members testified against Durk, claiming he planned the attack and offered payment.
Conversely, the defense suggested that another individual, Vonnie, was the mastermind. Despite this acquittal, Lil Durk faces additional racketeering charges, accusing him and his 'OTF' label of operating as a violent gang. These charges, filed two months prior to this trial, may lead to a separate legal proceeding.
