Libby Fox Returns to EastEnders Amid Family Crisis

Libby Fox, portrayed by Belinda Owusu, has made a surprise return to EastEnders after a nine-year absence. Her reappearance coincides with her mother, Denise Fox, beginning her treatment for blood cancer. Denise received support from her husband Jack Branning as she prepared for a four-week hospital stay.

Libby's return was orchestrated by her sister Chelsea, who informed Libby of their mother's diagnosis. Upon Libby's arrival, Denise was visibly pleased by the reunion. Libby assured her mother she would visit the hospital daily and remain available for as long as Denise needed her.

This marks a significant return for the character, who previously left in 2017. Libby's storylines have included her biological father Owen Turner and a brief appearance in a 2027 flash-forward episode. Actress Belinda Owusu, who plays Libby, also had a long-running role in Holby City.
