Lia Jones, known from Married to Medicine: Los Angeles, has made serious allegations against her ex-husband, Colin Dias. Court documents reveal Jones claims Dias attempted to recruit a neighbor to carry out her murder.
The neighbor reportedly told Jones that Dias asked about the cost "to get rid of" her and mentioned seeking a "clean gun." Jones filed for a domestic violence restraining order on Monday based on these claims.
A judge has scheduled a formal hearing for August 5th to review the restraining order petition. The court declined to immediately grant the order, as it was based on a neighbor's statements.
Jones also requested permission to sell a home she alleges Dias coerced her into transferring to him. She argued this sale was necessary to prevent foreclosure on the property.
The couple's legal battles have been ongoing since their 2023 divorce. Previously, Jones sought joint custody after Dias was awarded sole custody.
Dias has previously obtained a restraining order against Jones, alleging threats and an attack. Jones has reportedly completed domestic violence courses and therapy.
