Lex Luthor's Minions Resurface in Peacemaker Season 2

As of November 16th, 2025, Peacemaker Season 2 has featured a surprise appearance from Lex Luthor when the show's protagonist, Rick Flag Sr., visited him in prison. While Luthor only appeared briefly, some of his underlings, most notably Stephen Blackehart's character Sydney Happersen, have returned in the season's final two episodes.

Blackehart recently explained that Happersen's decision to help Flag Sr. track down the dimensional rifts was not out of fear of punishment from Luthor, but rather a desire to avoid disappointing the bald villain. Happersen still holds Luthor in high regard, and the prospect of letting him down was a key factor. Additionally, Happersen felt a sense of responsibility to find a new rift after the one opened by LuthorCorp's technology nearly destroyed Metropolis.

The exploration of these other dimensions has paid off for Happersen and the rest of Luthor's cronies, including Ali Jessop. They have been overseeing the process for A.R.G.U.S. and even scored some personal perks, like cocaine for Happersen. This culminated in them finding Salvation, which is now the world where metahuman prisoners will be dumped. With Peacemaker Season 3 not yet in development, fans will have to wait and see if Happersen and the other LuthorCorp employees make an appearance in the upcoming film Man of Tomorrow, set to release on July 9th, 2027.
