In a recent exclusive interview, actress and singer Leighton Meester, 39, revealed that she will be guest starring on the Netflix series 'Nobody Wants This' opposite her husband, Adam Brody. Meester is set to play the role of Abby, a former middle school nemesis of Kristen Bell's character.
Meester, who has partnered with Godiva for a new campaign, teased her upcoming guest appearance, saying, "I don't know what I can tell you, but I do inevitably stir up some drama there." The Gossip Girl alum expressed her admiration for the show, stating, "Obviously, I am a huge fan of the show for many reasons, but I've been so lucky to get to know everybody involved, ... [and they've all] been so kind and welcoming."
Meester went on to say that her time on the 'Nobody Wants This' set was "one of the most fun times" she's had, adding, "I also know somebody on it," in reference to her husband, Adam Brody, who stars in the series alongside Kristen Bell.
'Nobody Wants This' debuted on Netflix in September 2024 and follows the love story between Noah, a newly single rabbi, and Joanne, an agnostic sex podcaster, as they navigate their relationship despite their cultural differences. The show was renewed for a second season in October of the same year, much to the delight of fans.
