Lego Star Wars Smart Play: Interactive Builds Launch!

Lego is expanding its interactive Star Wars offerings with five new Smart Play compatible sets, revealed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair on January 27, 2026. These new builds, priced between $39.99 and $99.99, are set to launch on March 1, 2026, joining three previously announced "All-In-One" Star Wars Smart Play sets. The collection includes detailed models like an 885-piece Millennium Falcon with four Smart Minifigures and a 666-piece Mos Eisley Cantina.

Preorders for these highly anticipated sets are now open through the Lego Store and major retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and Target. However, Best Buy has introduced a reservation system due to anticipated demand, requiring account verification and potentially long waits for interested buyers. It is crucial for consumers to note that these five new sets do not include the "Smart Brick," the core component necessary for the interactive lights and sound effects, which must be purchased separately through the "All-In-One" sets.

Other notable additions to the Smart Play line include Luke's Landspeeder (215 pieces), Yoda's Hut and Jedi Training set (440 pieces), and an AT-ST Attack on Endor set (347 pieces). These sets are designed for various age groups, starting from ages 6 and up, offering fans immersive ways to interact with iconic Star Wars moments through lights, sounds, and motion-activated features when paired with the essential Smart Brick.
