- Ford credits her endometriosis surgeon for saving her career and life

Courtney Ford, the 47-year-old actress from Legends of Tomorrow, is grateful to be in a good place with her estranged husband, Brandon Routh. The former couple, who announced their separation in January 2025, have maintained an amicable relationship as co-workers, co-parents, and friends.
"We are now and forever rooting for each other as we move through this wild adventure called life," Ford and Routh, 46, shared in a joint statement earlier this year. Their priority remains their 13-year-old son, and they are navigating the transition with understanding.
In addition to her personal life, Ford has also been focused on her health. She revealed that she had developed a limp due to the severity of her endometriosis while working on Legends of Tomorrow. Fortunately, she found a life-changing surgeon, Dr. Iris Kerin Orbuch, who has helped her manage the condition and regain her quality of life.
"When I talk about life-changing and life-saving, I mean, [Dr. Iris] saved my life and my career because I couldn't walk," Ford shared. Now, she is full of beauty and energy, and she hopes to inspire other women living with endometriosis to find the right specialist and reclaim their lives.
