Set on the Canary Island of Tenerife, 'Emergency Exit' follows 14 disparate characters—including an actress, a closeted priest, and an evangelist—who board a coach and find themselves unable to leave once in motion. The film draws clear inspiration from Luis Buñuel's classic 'The Exterminating Angel,' blending personal anecdotes, myth, and Buñuelian absurdity into a captivating Canary Island odyssey.
Featuring the final screen performance of Almodóvar star Marisa Paredes, 'Emergency Exit' also stars acclaimed actors like Arielle Dombasle and Myriam Mézières, who made their names with iconic 1970s directors Eric Rohmer and Alain Tanner.
