On October 4th, 2025, it was announced that renowned choreographer Paula Abdul will be honored with the Legacy Award at the 15th World Choreography Awards ceremony. Abdul, an Emmy and Grammy award-winning artist, has showcased her exceptional choreography talents throughout her illustrious career, both in front of and behind the camera.
The World Choreography Awards has also released its list of nominees for this year's ceremony, scheduled to take place on November 17th. The nominees include the choreographers and teams behind acclaimed productions and music videos, such as "Wicked," Dua Lipa's "Illusion," and Beyoncé's "Beyoncé Bowl."
In addition to the awards presentation, the ceremony will feature live performances from several artists, including Asadi & Xye, Monika Felice Smith, and JA Collective.
