New 'Legally Blonde' Series Reveals Elle's High School Nemesis

In the upcoming second season of the "Legally Blonde" prequel series, Ramakrishnan is set to portray Sam, Elle's sharp-witted high school antagonist. Sam is described as possessing Elle's ambition but lacking her optimism, serving as the "commissioner of the grammar police" and the "enemy of joy."
The series, set in the 1990s, follows Elle through her high school years, exploring the experiences that forged her into the beloved character from the "Legally Blonde" films. Laura Kittrell, known for her work on "High School" and "Insecure," created the series.
Reese Witherspoon, who famously starred as Elle Woods in the original movies, is among the show's executive producers. The cast for season one includes Lexi Minetree as Elle, with June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett Scott as her parents. Numerous other actors have recurring roles.
Season two is co-showrun by Kittrell and Caroline Dries. They executive produce alongside Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter. Amazon MGM Studios and Hello Sunshine are the production companies behind the show.
