The second season of the Legally Blonde prequel series has already completed its filming. Showrunner Caroline Dries confirmed that the majority of the cast will be featured in the upcoming season. Jessica Belkin, who portrays Elle's friend Madison, shared her enthusiasm for returning, hinting that Madison's storyline will be further explored. Belkin also mentioned a special cast viewing of the first season before filming began.
Meanwhile, Danielle Chand, who played Shannon, is not currently expected to return for the second season. Despite Shannon's departure from Seattle at the end of season 1, Chand expressed a desire for her character to reappear in future episodes, possibly for significant events. The creators focused on capturing the original movie's tone while introducing new characters and elements to create a distinct yet familiar experience for viewers.
