'Leader' Movie: From Theaters to Prime Video?

Legend Saravanan's Tamil spy action thriller, 'Leader,' which premiered on April 3rd, is reportedly preparing for its digital release. While official confirmation is awaited, speculation suggests the film could begin streaming on Prime Video as early as May 1st.

Directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar, 'Leader' stars Saravanan in his second production and acting venture. The movie encountered a mixed reception from audiences and exhibited a mediocre performance at the box office. Opening with Rs 75 lakhs on its first day, the film saw a 52% increase in earnings by the second day, reaching Rs 1.14 crore, according to reports from Sacnilk.

The film's narrative centers on an undercover agent disguised as a car mechanic in Thoothukudi, tasked with preventing a plot to demolish the port using ammonium nitrate. Reviews have highlighted Saravanan's improved performance and praised the complementary contributions of the ensemble cast, including Andrea, Shaam, and Santhosh Prathap, who collectively support the film's dramatic momentum.
