He previously boycotted brands that rejected Zendaya during her early career. This included major houses like Saint Laurent, Dior, Valentino, Chanel, and Gucci, who reportedly told him to 'try again next year' due to Zendaya being 'too green.'

Despite his stated desire to release grudges for personal growth, Roach maintained a firm stance on his past decisions.
