Lady A Headlines Lancaster Fest: Music Fills the Air

The Lancaster Festival is set to enchant audiences with eight days of diverse musical performances, headlined by the acclaimed group Lady A on July 25. The band is scheduled to perform at the Wendel Concert Stage, collaborating with the 60-member Lancaster Festival Orchestra.

This annual event, established in 1984, is dedicated to showcasing local artists and a wide spectrum of musical genres. It features everything from major headliner acts and intimate cafe concerts to engaging programs for children and music lessons for youth. Many of the festival's offerings are free of charge, including children's workshops and the Noon at the Square lunchtime concert series.

Attendees can anticipate a variety of activities, such as the Major Arts for Minors program, Café Concerts, and the Children's Corner at the Zane Square Concert Stage. The Covered Bridge Music Series, focusing on Americana and country music, is also making a comeback this year. Information and tickets for specific events, including the Lady A performance, are available on the festival's official website.
