Lorenzo Lamas' daughter, Shayne Lamas, has publicly voiced her approval of her father's relationship with Heather Locklear. On May 10, Shayne posted on Instagram, calling Locklear a "very rare woman" and expressing her belief that true love can be lasting. She shared her appreciation for Locklear, noting that her own mother would have approved.

Locklear, who shares daughter Ava with ex-husband Richie Sambora, responded warmly in the comments, thanking Shayne and complimenting her parenting.
