Pratibha Ranta, the acclaimed actress who starred in 'Laapataa Ladies', India's official entry for the Oscars 2025, has reportedly joined Kartik Aaryan in the upcoming fantasy film 'Naagzilla.' The film, directed by 'Fukrey' filmmaker Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, is being produced by Dharma Productions in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films.
According to reports, the makers initially considered Sanya Malhotra for the female lead role, but Pratibha Ranta is now in advanced talks for the part. The production team is said to be keen on casting Pratibha due to her fresh screen presence and strong acting potential. She is also working on another project with Maddock Films, expected to begin in early 2026.
