A former personal chef has initiated a lawsuit against Kylie Jenner, alleging that challenging work conditions led to her miscarriage. The complaint, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on June 22, 2026, states the chef worked 11- to 12-hour shifts, five days a week.
Despite informing supervisors about her pregnancy in December 2024, the chef claims she was still expected to perform physically demanding duties. This included lifting heavy food items uphill on New Year's Eve 2024, which resulted in dizziness and a need for assistance. Later, she reportedly experienced emotional breakdown due to exhaustion during a children's birthday celebration in Palm Springs around February 1, 2025.
The following day, the chef began experiencing severe bleeding and was informed she had lost her unborn child. The lawsuit further alleges she was falsely accused of disarray after the event and suffered additional hemorrhaging and depression. One supervisor allegedly dismissed her distress, telling her to stop upsetting Kylie Jenner.
This is not the first employment-related lawsuit Jenner has faced this year. Earlier filings included claims of harassment, race discrimination, and wage violations from housekeepers. One housekeeper resigned in August 2025 due to severe anxiety, while another alleged mockery of her religious beliefs and nationality.
