Radio Titans Split: Jackie O Quits After On-Air Meltdown
3 Mar
Summary
- Jackie O Henderson quit after Kyle Sandilands' harsh on-air comments.
- The radio show's $200 million, 10-year contract was terminated.
- Sandilands faces 14 days to remedy misconduct or face termination.

The long-standing 'The Kyle and Jackie O Show' has been abruptly taken off air following Jackie 'O' Henderson's resignation. Henderson informed KIIS FM's parent company, ARN, that she could no longer work with co-host Kyle Sandilands after his severe on-air remarks about her caused her distress.
This falling out has resulted in the termination of their significant contract. Sandilands and Henderson had signed a 10-year deal in 2023, reportedly worth $200 million, with eight years remaining. Sandilands has been issued a 14-day notice by ARN to address his misconduct, or his own contract will be terminated.
Following Henderson's departure, ARN has offered her the possibility of hosting a different show on their network. Sandilands, who was absent from the show on a recent Thursday citing his son's illness, addressed reports of the show ending, attributing his absence to a sick day. He later expressed regret for hurting Henderson's feelings, acknowledging that his comments were made on air.
