She explains that this shift towards emotional openness is a result of personal growth, allowing her to be more comfortable sharing intimate aspects of her life with her audience.
'And All Pride Aside' features collaborations with artists like Destin Conrad and Ty Dolla $ign, adding to the EP's rich sonic palette. kwn reflects on her fast-rising career, acknowledging the challenges of balancing public life with private experiences, including grief.
Crafted amidst a demanding schedule, the EP includes tracks like "Risk It All," a nod to Nelly's "Hot in Herre," and emotionally resonant songs such as "Heaven's in Your Hands," dedicated to her grandfather. The sequencing of the project was carefully considered to reflect the thematic balance.
