Kushboo Returns to Jackpot After 16 Years, Family Takes Center Stage

Actress Kushboo Sundar is set to host the popular game show Jackpot once again, marking her return after a 16-year absence. She notes that her political aspirations had previously led her to put the show on hold. Kushboo fondly recalls raising her children on the show's set, even filming during her second pregnancy.

She observes that reality television has evolved significantly, with many current shows lacking broad family appeal. Kushboo believes Jackpot's strength lies in its status as a clean, family-oriented program, offering a shared viewing experience.

The actress also discusses her distinctive blouse designs from the show, which were not intended as fashion statements but rather as a personal expression, with designer Poornima Bhagyaraj creating the new season's blouses.

Kushboo credits her family as her "biggest support system," enabling her to multitask across acting, television, family, and politics. She emphasizes her need to stay active and engaged in work throughout her life.

Reflecting on her daughter Avantika's recent wedding, Kushboo shares intimate details of her husband Sundar C's emotional reaction, recalling his memories as a father. Even now, he finds it hard to fully accept that Avantika is married, a sentiment Kushboo says will take him time to adjust to.
