Hollywood icon Kurt Russell recently hosted a celebration for his "award-winning" wine brand, GoGi Wines, at a gathering focused on honoring "our people."
Photos shared on Instagram showed Russell, dressed smartly, enjoying his company and the brand's Pinot Noir, though his long-time partner Goldie Hawn was not visibly present in the shared images.
Russell established GoGi Wines in 2008 in collaboration with Peter and Rebecca Work of Ampelos Cellars. His passion for winemaking was ignited during family trips through France, Italy, and California, particularly his fascination with Burgundy wines.
He recounted that the Works were initially discerning, seeking genuine commitment rather than a celebrity endorsement for their wine production. This led to the quiet inception of GoGi Wines, which also produces Chardonnay, with each vintage of Pinot Noir named after a family member and Chardonnay named Goldie.
