Kunal Kemmu Confirms 'Madgaon Express 2' Script is Complete

Kunal Kemmu has announced that the script for the sequel to his directorial debut, Madgaon Express, is complete. While Kemmu's immediate attention is on his upcoming action-comedy film Vibe, scheduled for release on September 18, he shared that "Madgaon Express 2" is actively in development.

Kemmu revealed that the concept for the sequel was conceived during the initial writing process of the first film, stating that he always plans for possibilities. He indicated that a sequel would only be made if the original performed well and if a compelling narrative could be developed organically.

Speaking on his diverse career moves, Kemmu also mentioned his upcoming role as a host for the reality show "Alliance." This foray into reality television, alongside his filmmaking endeavors, signifies a new phase in his professional journey.

The actor-director noted that ideas for "Madgaon Express" first sparked in 2014, influenced by periods of creative exploration and the discipline learned from writing "Go Goa Gone." He only shared the completed sequel script with the production house after its finalization.
