12 Feb
Summary
- Krystal Nielson described her second birth as extremely traumatic.
- Her uterus 'exploded' requiring emergency surgery and NICU care.
- Doctors advised against future pregnancies due to uterine injury.

Reality TV personality Krystal Nielson has shared the incredibly traumatic details of giving birth to her son Rowan Vincent in November 2025. Nielson described the experience as the most horrific she has endured, with her uterus reportedly 'exploding' within her body.
Initially planning a natural birth, Nielson's situation escalated after a medical device became stuck, causing significant bleeding. This led to an emergency C-section and an operating room procedure where doctors had to push the baby higher to deliver him. Her son was born prematurely detached from the placenta and required NICU treatment.
Following the emergency, Nielson underwent anesthesia to repair her ruptured uterus. The surgeon informed her that her uterus had 'completely just exploded.'
Due to the severity of the injury, Nielson and her husband have been strongly advised against further pregnancies. This news was difficult, as they had planned to have a third child within a year of Rowan's birth.
