Krystal Hipwell, a former Big Brother contestant, recently disclosed details about her budget-friendly wedding from 2013. She shared on Instagram how she and her husband, Neil Hipwell, managed to celebrate their nuptials affordably, highlighting their commitment to each other over extravagant spending.

The couple opted for a modest ceremony at an old Byron Bay church, which cost them just $400. Hipwell incorporated vintage elements, wearing a 1920s flower crown and purchasing her wedding ring from an antique store for $350. Additionally, all decorative items, including crockery and tablecloths, were sourced from op shops, and her reception dress was a $70 find from Etsy.

Hipwell, who gained fame alongside her mother on Big Brother and later underwent cosmetic surgery, reflected that these budget choices did not diminish the significance of their wedding day. She emphasized that their continued choice to love and support each other daily is the most important aspect of their marriage.
