Kriti Sanon Eyes Female Superhero Role

Actress Kriti Sanon is keen to explore diverse acting opportunities, including a potential female superhero role. Sanon, who has recently garnered attention for her varied filmography, expressed a desire to step into the shoes of a 'superwoman.'

She highlighted the absence of female superheroes in Indian cinema, referencing established male characters like Krrish and Shaktimaan. Sanon articulated her interest in portraying morally ambiguous or 'grey' characters, emphasizing the creative challenge and opportunity to play roles distinct from her own persona. She also indicated a preference for action-driven parts.

This aspiration signals Sanon's ambition to move beyond conventional romantic and dramatic roles. Her desire to embody a female superhero would also allow her to combine performance with action sequences, a facet of acting she is eager to pursue in the next phase of her career.
