Kristen Stewart's New Role: Psychic Drugs & Doppelgangers!

Kristen Stewart is back with a stoner comedy, 'The Wrong Girls,' which is now playing in theaters. In this film, Stewart takes on two distinct roles, drawing parallels to her character from the 2015 movie 'American Ultra.'

The plot of 'The Wrong Girls' follows Frankie, played by Stewart, and her best friend Molly, portrayed by Alia Shawkat. They are a codependent duo who discover a mysterious drug that grants them telepathic abilities and a 24-hour deadline to pay their rent.

Stewart portrays Frankie, an unmotivated college dropout, who encounters her doppelganger, Frances. Frances works within a government agency involved in the creation of the psychic drug, sparking intriguing plot possibilities.

Director Dylan Meyer, who also wrote the film, has expressed interest in a potential sequel. She mentioned that the characters acquire superpowers by the end of the movie, creating a foundation for future installments, though no concrete plans are currently in place.
