Kristen Stewart Compares Twilight Filming to Titanic

During a recent promotional event for her new movie, "The Wrong Girls," Kristen Stewart reminisced about a tumultuous filming experience for one of the "Twilight" films. Stewart recounted that production in Brazil was severely disrupted by a massive storm, which trapped the entire cast and crew in a single house.

The actress described the situation as a nightmare, with everyone confined and frustrated by the inability to continue filming. She likened the predicament to the sinking of the RMS Titanic, especially when offered a chance to leave.

A small boat was available to evacuate only the cast members for the night, a scenario Stewart found reminiscent of the Titanic's lifeboats prioritizing certain passengers. She declined the offer, expressing solidarity with the crew and embracing her identity as a "blue-collar actress."

This chaotic filming experience was previously discussed by co-star Robert Pattinson in 2011. He described the weather in Paraty, Brazil, shifting from pleasant to hurricane-like storms. Pattinson noted that instead of romantic scenes, the cast ended up playing board games during the filming, likening the experience to a less-than-ideal honeymoon in England.
