Krispy Kreme Unleashes Pokémon Doughnut Collection

Krispy Kreme has unveiled a limited-edition Pokémon Doughnut Collection, commemorating 30 years of the beloved franchise. This collaboration introduces six distinct doughnuts, each representing iconic Pokémon characters such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and a Poké Ball. The festive treats became available for purchase starting Tuesday, August 18.

Beyond the character-themed doughnuts, Krispy Kreme is also offering special-edition cups. Each cup comes in one of six designs and contains 10 Glazed Gold Dots, adding another layer of collectibility for fans. Those purchasing a Pokémon dozen will receive their order in custom packaging adorned with the five main characters, enhancing the celebratory experience.

The Pokémon Doughnut Collection offers a variety of flavors and designs. The Pikachu doughnut features a lemon filling, while others like Bulbasaur and Jigglypuff boast unique icing and frosting combinations. Charmander's doughnut is inspired by its fiery nature with orange caramel icing and red and gold sugar. Customers can also take advantage of a special offer: individuals in Pokémon attire can receive a free glazed doughnut on August 22.

The collaboration aims to capture the playful spirit of Pokémon, bringing its world to life through Krispy Kreme's signature creations. The doughnuts are available for in-store purchase, pickup, and delivery. A special six-count pack may also be offered at select locations. This initiative follows Krispy Kreme's recent 89th-anniversary promotion, which offered a dozen glazed doughnuts for 89 cents.
