Actor's Surprise Path: From IPS Aspirant to Accidental Star

Kranti Prakash Jha, recognized for his role in "Raktanchal," revealed that his acting career was never a planned endeavor. His sole aspiration was to pass the UPSC examination and join the Indian Police Service (IPS).

During his college days at Hindu College, Jha was part of the theatre society, which included future filmmakers Imtiaz Ali and Vishal Bhardwaj as seniors. Despite this involvement, acting was not his career goal. He mentioned participating in fashion shows, humorously noting it was due to being told he was handsome.

The turning point in Jha's life occurred when friends advised him to spend a few months in Mumbai before continuing his UPSC studies. With support from screenwriter Ritesh Shah and writer Swanand Kirkire, he was introduced to auditioning, leading him to discover a new path in the entertainment industry.

Jha believes in destiny, quoting, 'Jo Ram Rachi Rakha.' His transition from civil services preparation to becoming a recognized performer in the OTT space remains an unplanned journey he embraces.
