The Korean action-comedy "Boss" has emerged as a major box office success, pulling in over 2.3 million admissions in its home market and ranking as the fifth highest-grossing Korean film of 2025. The gang-themed comedy, which centers on a power struggle within a gangster organization, has been acquired by distributors across Asia and beyond.
The film has been snapped up by Abnormal Studios for Cambodia, Star Entertainment for the Indian subcontinent, and Clover Films for Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. It has also found buyers in Japan, Mongolia, and Vietnam. In North America, 213 Pictures & Media picked up the rights, while Cai Chang International secured the Taiwan distribution.
