Korean actor Park Dong-Bin, aged 56, was discovered deceased at his restaurant premises in Pungtaek, Gyeonggi. An acquaintance found his body at the venue, which was being prepared for an upcoming opening, marking a career shift from acting.
The police have launched an investigation into Park's passing. As of the current date, there are no confirmed signs of homicide or other criminal acts related to his death. A suicide note was also not found at the scene.
Park was married to actress Lee Sang-yi since February 2020, and the couple has a three-year-old daughter. Recently, he shared on television the serious heart condition their daughter had, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which required multiple surgeries.
Their daughter underwent three significant surgeries before she was 16 months old. Despite her health struggles, the family remained hopeful for her eventual recovery, anticipating a final surgery when she turned three.
