Kolkata's independent music community is experiencing a surge in popularity, fueled by intimate live performances. The third installment of the monthly "Little Bit Indie" event took place on August 16 at Little Bit Sober, successfully connecting emerging artists with an appreciative audience. The evening featured a diverse range of talent, including vocalists, guitarists, and full bands.

Highlights included sets by Neela, an artist based in Canada who is exploring Indian classical music and her heritage through her work, and Plumpjacket. Neela performed tracks from her album "Exposed," weaving contemporary sounds with Indian influences.
